Stable Flats
Designed to be first LEED-H Platinum multi-family certified project of its kind in the United States. Stable Flats is a 70 unit residential project located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia. It is intended to be a model of sustainable, residential and community urban re-development. It incorporates new and creative approaches to open/community space with a 12,000 square foot community garden, storm water management, geothermal heating/cooling, green roof technology, on-site renewable energy generation, steel and concrete modular construction, creative parking management and 31% dedicated Affordable Housing units.
Stable Flats will be located in Northern Liberties, a neighborhood that might be described as Philadelphia’s answer to New York’s SoHo District. Over recent years, the creative spirit of musicians and artists has been the momentum behind the transformation of this great Philly neighborhood. Warehouses, rowhouses, and old world breweries have been reconstructed into buildings and loft condos with awesome potential living and work spaces for artists, music and art studios.
